What Is Synchro Alberta?
Synchro Alberta is the non-profit sport governing body for synchronized swimming in the province of Alberta incorporated in October 1970.  We are one of 10 member provinces or territories under Synchro Canada.  Synchro Canada is governed by the international rules of the international aquatic federation, FINA, Fédération Internationale de Natation Amateur.

Mission Satement 
Synchro Alberta will work together to promote, teach, foster, encourage and improve synchronized  swimming in the province.

Synchro Alberta Board of Directors
The Synchro Alberta Board consists of 8 members.  They are responsible for:

  1. Determining the strategic plan for the association taking into consideration the needs and wishes of the membership at large.
  2. Approving and monitoring the Synchro Alberta budget.
  3. Developing provincial policies.
  4. Evaluating the organizations program and performance results.
  5. Directing and overseeing the general activities of the association
  6. Approval of association committee members, selection and appointment of certain committee chairs.

Synchro Alberta Staff
Synchro Alberta has an office located on the second floor of the Percy Page Centre in Edmonton.  The office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (September to April) and Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (May to August).
